As the College begins a new academic year, we at the Emerson College Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe and prosperous year. The ECPD would also like to remind the community of a few safety tips to practice in any situation to keep safe.

As President Pelton referenced in his message this morning, a group sponsoring a “straight pride” parade has been granted a permit to march this Saturday, August 31. In anticipation of crowds, the college is implementing standard safety plans, as follows:

As the quiet of summer comes to a close, the arrival of students draws near. I want to remind you that our new undergraduate students will be moving into their residence halls on Saturday, August 24, and Monday, August 26.
I am writing to share the bittersweet news that Eric Sykes, Associate Vice President/Dean of Admission, will be leaving Emerson College after 15 years of service.
