Announcement regarding Eric Sykes, Associate Vice President/Dean of Admission

Dear members of the Emerson Community,

I am writing to share the bittersweet news that Eric Sykes, Associate Vice President/Dean of Admission, will be leaving Emerson College after 15 years of service. He will be joining Quinnipiac University as the Vice President for Enrollment Management. While I am certainly sad to see Eric leave Emerson, I know that he has helped to promote an efficient and successful environment, which is conducive to the continued success of the College.

Eric came to Emerson College in 2004 as the Director of Institutional Research (later becoming Associate VP for Institutional Research) and joined the Enrollment Management team in 2011. Eric has been an integral member of our team, which has seen tremendous success particularly in regard to strategic planning and processes.

Eric’s last day at the College will be September 11. We will host an all campus reception to thank Eric for his dedicated service to the College and wish him well in his new endeavors. I will share those details once they become available. In the meantime, please join me in congratulating Eric on his new position.

Thanks,

Ruthanne Madsen
Vice President for Enrollment Management
