What’s New in Dining Services

On behalf of Campus Services, welcome back to campus!

We are excited to share updates and details of some new additions we have been working on with many of our campus partners, including our dining services provider, Bon Appétit.

Introducing The Lion’s Den!

The newest addition to the Boston campus, The Lion’s Den, is having its grand opening Monday, September 16.

The Lion’s Den is open for seating for those enjoying their meals from the Dining Center, or bringing their meals from off-campus (the Den has a microwave)!

The Lion’s Den is accessible from the 25 Boylston Place entrance; take the stairs or elevator to the first floor of the Walker Building. The Den includes the Coffee Bar, featuring Pierce Bros. Co. coffee products, including espresso and cold brew. The Lion’s Grill will serve both made-to-order and grab-and-go items, including sushi! This is a great space for you to grab a coffee or meal in between classes, chill out and catch up with friends, or set up shop and get work done! The Lion’s Den is open Monday-Friday, 11:00 am-9:00 pm, and is available for event reservation upon request.

For those enjoying their all-you-care-to-eat meal from the Dining Center in the Lion’s Den, please note: You will have to tap back in to the Dining Center upon re-entering via the Center Stage entrance every time you enter — yes, even for your your second and third helping. You have 45 minutes from your first swipe-in without your tap being charged for an additional swipe or payment.

Order Up!

The Dining Center, including Center Stage, is now “all you care to eat.”

To enter the Dining Center during dining hours, you must have a meal plan or pay the door rate with Board Bucks, EC Cash, cash, or credit. The Dining Center has many new additions, including a deli station, noodle bar, tapas station, and, coming soon, a locally sourced ice cream station.

The Oasis offers lunch and dinner options without the eight major food allergens, including gluten. This station is self-contained with its own dedicated cooking and preparation areas to minimize any cross contamination. For the health and safety of our community, please allow the Dining Center staff to prepare you a fresh plate.

For all the details, check out our dining guide and DC map, featuring a detailed breakdown of stations and locations. We are always adding new ingredients and making changes. Be sure to stay connected; more details are shared below.

Bon Appétit!

We are thrilled to be partnered with Bon Appétit. We share their commitment to environmentally and socially responsible sourcing. Our executive chef is committed to buying at least 20 percent of ingredients from small farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and food producers within 150 miles from our Downtown Boston kitchen.

Be on the lookout for pop-ups from local farmers, and special events, including the Eat Local Challenge on Tuesday, September 24.

View the daily menu being served in all campus locations here. Sign up for “menu mail” and receive a daily email of menu items.

We encourage members of our community to ask to speak with a manager for on-the-spot assistance with any questions, suggestions, or concerns. Our team wants to hear from you; we always value feedback and suggestions.

As always, Bon Appétit strives for excellent food service and safety, our menu items are labeled, and while we are a nut-free facility, some of our local bakers from which we source some dessert products could use nuts in their facilities, so we advise caution when enjoying sweet treats.
