Emerson Getting First Look at ‘Sex Lives of College Girls’

Emerson students who have been patiently waiting to see what happens to their Essex College besties can get a sneak peek on Thursday, Sept. 19, when Warner Bros. Television and the Boston Film Festival screen a preview of The Sex Lives of College Girls Season 3 in the Bright Family Screening Room.

Open exclusively to the Emerson community on a first-come, first-served basis, the free screening, beginning at 4:00 pm, will be followed by a Q&A featuring the showrunner and other creatives from the series.

Created by Emmy-nominated writer/producer Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, The Sex Lives of College Girls follows a group of students at a prestigious New England college. It is produced by Kaling International and 3 Arts Entertainment, in association with WBTV.

Noble will be joined in the post-screening Q&A by co-executive producers/writers Sarah Tapscott and Caroline Goldfarb, co-producer/writer Beth Appel, and casting director Liz Barnes.

The event is part of a series of screenings and panels offered at Emerson and Boston University as part of a special WBTV College Day to kick off the Boston Film Festival (Sept. 19-23). The screenings are part of WBTV’s mission to provide educational entertainment industry opportunities to college students across the country.

The third season of The Sex Lives of College Girls will premiere this November on Max.
