The movie stars Michelle Yeoh as an aging immigrant and high-strung laundromat owner who discovers that thousands of versions of her exist across a multiverse. Ke Huy Quan also won for best Outstanding Supporting Performance.

In March 2022, Daniels, as they are known, joined Anna Feder, head of film exhibition and festival programs in the Visual and Media Arts department and curator of the Bright Lights Film Series, for a conversation about the movie, collaborating, their moviemaking process, and more.
