Bright ’76 to Deliver ‘Fireside Chat’

Emerson Trustee Kevin Bright ’76, Emmy Award-winning executive producer of Friends, will deliver a “fireside chat” as part of an Independent Filmmaker Day virtual event featuring executives from across the entertainment industry.

Bright’s conversation will take place Saturday, September 11, 1:00-1:50 pm.

In addition to his Emmy wins for Friends (2002) and In Living Color (1990), Bright has been nominated for six Emmys, most recently this year for Friends: The Reunion, as well as numerous other awards. He also was the executive producer of the documentary films Never Too Late: The Doc Severinsen Story (2020), nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the Nashville Film Festival, and Best and Most Beautiful Things (2016). He was the first executive director of Emerson Los Angeles.
