Erin Trahan on Accessible Theatre Online: WBUR

VMA affiliated faculty member Erin Trahan, who is also a film writer for The ARTery, highlights the ReelAbilities Film Festival, which has moved online in light of the COVD-19 pandemic. ReelAbilities is the largest festival in the US dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities.

One of the participants is Emerson alum Alexander Freeman, whose short film, “The Last Straw,” will be screened on Sunday, March 29, at 7 p.m.

The free festival streams online from March 22-April 2, and is one of the first in Boston to do so (alongside Emerson’s Bright Lights series.)
