Creating a living, learning, and working environment in which students and other community members can thrive is one of Emerson’s primary responsibilities. We believe that Emerson should be a supportive, welcoming, and safe campus.

Emerson’s third annual Teach-in on Race kicked off at the Cutler Majestic Theatre last Friday with a discussion led by scholar, writer, and activist Rachel Kuo, as well as several of Emerson’s most prominent student social justice leaders.
The 2018 Teach-In will be held Friday, October 12, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, beginning with a keynote conversation with activist/educator Rachel Kuo.
