Raynauld on Twitter & Silicon Valley Bank Run: TechNewsWorld

Communication Studies associate professor Vincent Raynauld weighed in on a TechNewsWorld piece examining a study recently released on the effect of social media influencing the Silicon Valley Bank bank run.

The study concluded social media did play a role in the Bank’s collapse. Can social media be regulated? No, according to Raynauld.

I don’t think it’s possible to regulate social media. Any attempt to do so will be seen as an attack on a person’s right to express themselves.
