Asim’s Latest Children’s Book in Publisher’s Weekly
Publisher’s Weekly reports that Penguin/Paulsen has bought world rights to Writing, Literature and Publishing Associate Professor Jabari Asim’s forthcoming picture book, Wall of Respect, due out Spring 2024.
The book, about two siblings helping their father and other painters create a mural in their African American neighborhood, is being illustrated by Caldecott Honor artist Noa Denmon.
Asim is the author of 13 children’s books, as well as four nonfiction books, two novels, and a poetry collection.
