One Emerson: Action Now Required — Spring 2021 Community Compact
Note: The Community Compact agreement applies only to students.
Hello,
The Emerson College Community Compact for Spring 2021 is now fully available. Technical issues have been resolved. If you will be on the Boston campus this semester for any reason (attending classes, teaching classes, other employment, use of physical facilities), you must electronically agree to the Compact before you can enter campus buildings.
If you will not be on the Boston campus at all this term, you do not need to sign the Compact and can disregard this message.
As indicated in our message of January 8, the Emerson College Community Compact guides our work and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic and provides a lasting reminder of how we show care for ourselves and our fellow Emersonians. All students who will be on the Boston campus in the spring must sign the Compact, regardless of whether they signed the Compact in the fall.
To access the Compact, follow these instructions:
- Go to EmConnect
- Scroll down the homepage to just below the grid of events
- Just under the end of the events, you should see the header “Paths” on the right side (usually appearing opposite “Latest News” on the left side)
- Underneath Paths, clock on “Emerson College Community Compact – Spring 2021”
Once in the Compact, you’ll find a description and instructions for how to indicate your agreement. Below the instructions, you’ll see a progress bar. Click on the progress bar to see three required items. Please read the items, mark them as complete, and add a completion date and your typed agreement.
If you have any questions, please contact Jason Meier, director of student engagement and leadership, at jason_meier@emerson.edu.
Together, we can keep our community safe. Best wishes for the start of the Spring 2021 term!
Thank you and take care,
Jim Hoppe
Vice President and Dean of Campus Life
