Pelton, Students on Higher Education in the Fall: CBS Boston
CBS Boston reported on the possibilities for the fall semester in higher education, as the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce held a panel on the topic yesterday, moderated by President Lee Pelton. He was joined by the presidents of Bunker Hill Community College, Northeastern, BU, and UMass, and all are working on plans to continue learning, however it may look.
Jehan Ayesha, who will be a sophomore in the fall, is living on the Emerson campus currently as she is from Malaysia and said it has been somewhat difficult with the transition to online learning: “It’s really hard to just acknowledge that mental barrier that keeps us from being productive,” she said.
Said Pelton:
We are living and will be living in this COVID environment for quite some time. It will not end with the fall term.
