Remembering 27: Emerson Channel Sports Honors Dan Hollis ’22

Emerson Channel Sports released a video tribute of Dan Hollis ’22 on April 27, in honor of Hollis’ lacrosse jersey number.

Until this season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all NEWMAC lacrosse teams wore a sticker with 27 on the back of their helmets in honor of Hollis, who died on October 2, 2019.

His teammates and Head Coach Matthew Colombini celebrated Hollis’s positive personality, pointing out that he was always smiling, always supportive, and a good friend,

“He made the tough days a little easier, and he made the really good days even better,” said Colombini.

“Dan was my best friend. So i know that I wouldn’t be who I am today without having known him,” said Malcolm McGrath ’22.
