Sidewalk Construction Update

Dear Emerson Community,

The work schedule for the Boylston Street sidewalk project next week consists of the following dates and times: 

• Monday, 11/25/19 from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Tuesday 11/26/19 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• Wednesday, 11/27/19 from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am
• Thursday, 11/28/19, holiday, no work
• Friday, 11/29/19 from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

The work for next week will include:

• Concrete placement 
• Removing formwork
• Saw Cutting
• Waterproofing/insulation 
• Moving concrete barriers to sidewalk edge 
• Removal of steel road plates
• Patch existing excavations at the corner of Tremont and Boylston Street with new asphalt
