Bike Room Open for Emerson Community
Dear Emerson Community,
Thank you for your patience as we revised the Bike Room Guidelines. Beginning Monday, September 23, everyone in the Emerson community will have access to the Bike Room, located across from 2 Boylston Place.
The Bike Room will be open to the community on a first-come, first-served basis; there will be no need to register and no restrictions about parking overnight.
The Bike Room is for pedal, non-motorized bikes only. Per Massachusetts General Laws, no motorized vehicles may be parked in enclosed bike rooms. The Bike Room schedule is as follows:
- Fall 2019 access will end on Friday, December 20, at 12:00 pm. Anything left in the Bike Room after 12:00 pm on December 20 will be disposed of by the College.
- Spring 2020 access will resume Thursday, January 2, and end Monday, May 11.
- Summer 2020 access will resume Monday, May 18, and end Friday, August 14.
- The Fall 2020 schedule will by posted by August 14.
Additional Notes:
Residential students may store bikes in their rooms between the Fall and Spring semesters. There is no overnight summer storage.
Bike spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. Should you choose to move your bike, you may lose your spot and another community member may take it.
Please do not lock bikes over anyone else’s. Emerson College is not responsible for any lost/stolen bike, or damages. Please use the Bike Room at your own risk.
All members of the Emerson community will have tap access to the Bike Room.
The Bike Room has limited space. Please note there are designated bike spots painted green for daily use; no overnight bikes can use these spots. Please use the hanging wall spots for overnight storage. Any bike found after midnight in these spaces will be disposed of by the College.
