Update on Fire Near ELA

Dear members of the Emerson community,

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, a fire that erupted at 6015 W. Sunset Bl., which is across the street from the ELA campus, has been eliminated and all is clear.LAFD will remain on scene to ensure that there are no remaining hot spots inside the building. There are no reported injuries.

Because move-in takes place Sunday, September 1, there are currently only a few residents at the ELA building; all are accounted for.
