Finance Office Announces New Website and Tracking System

Dear Emerson Faculty and Staff,
The Finance Department is excited to announce our new web presence at, powered by our ticketing system Zendesk. On the new site, our community will find all of the same material that we formerly stored on, including:
1. Financial forms
2. Training materials
3. Processes and procedures for Pcard, Marketplace, and more
Our staff listing and vision/mission remain at, but all other support content has moved. When we go live with Workday this July, is where we will house all pertinent documentation for Finance.
Additionally, users can now click “Submit a Request” at the top of the page and request help from our department. For instance, if you had a general question about a Purchase Order, you would select Purchasing > Purchase Order > General Question in the drop down, and your ticket would route to the Purchasing team and an agent would get back to you. You can also attach a file, if you were submitting an invoice or journal voucher, for instance.
If you want to review the status of any request, click “Sign In” at the top of the page, click “Sign in with Google,” choose your Emerson account, and you will see the details of all your outstanding requests, including its status and who is working on it.
Please note that our departmental emails such as,,,, and are still available, but emailing them will now create a ticket in Zendesk. However, we prefer you use the form at, as our categories help route your request to the best person fastest.
Through the use of a departmental ticketing system, our aim is to make ourselves more accessible, more transparent, and more efficient in serving Emerson.
