Lu Ann Reeb, Emerson senior executive-in-residence, presented at the 2016 International Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Forum in Beijing last month.
The theme of the conference was “Rocking Dream Together.” Reeb’s talk was titled “Entrepreneurial Education Intersects with Media Innovation.”
The conference was hosted by the Communication University of China, an Emerson College partner, and welcomed faculty from around the world to share ideas and research focused on media innovation and entrepreneurship June 17–19.
In addition to Reeb, faculty and students from Northeastern University, Berklee College of Music, MIT, Michigan State University, Beijing Institute of Technology, New York Institute of Technology, Nottingham Trent University (U.K.), Pennsylvania State University, and the host school, plus international media company founders, participated in the conference.
“It was truly my good fortune to hear amazing ideas from peers and students at the conference, and enjoy the great Chinese culture, food, and hospitality,” Reeb said in an email.
Reeb is director of Entrepreneurship Studies and Business Studies at Emerson, and leads the E3 (Emerson Experience in Entrepreneurship) minor. She is also founder and president of Boston Media Group, LLC, an integrated marketing company.
