Photos: Alumni Weekend 2014

Hundreds were at Emerson for reunion, recognition, and fun at Alumni Weekend 2014 from May 30-June 1. Events included the annual boat cruise on Boston Harbor, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, and the WERS Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

This year’s WERS Hall of Fame inductees are Gary Krantz ’81, president/CEO of Krantz Media Group; Florence Markoff ’37, longtime radio personality; Chet Tart ’74, vice president and general manager of WSVU Radio in Florida; and Jacquie Gales Webb ’77, host of Sunday Afternoon Gospel on WHUR. The Reunion Celebration and Showcase included the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Awards. This year’s winners are diversity leader Tisa Jackson ’95, Emma Award-winning film and television music editor David Klotz ’94, award-winning reality TV producer Tara Sandler ’84, and Tony- and Grammy-winning music writer Scott Wittman ’76. The 2014 Young Alumni Achievement Award Recipients are Tony Award-winning producer Jason E. Grossman ’02 and Shira Lazar ’04, host of What’s Trending.
