Hurricane Earl: Storm expected to mostly bypass Boston

Hurricane Earl is making its way up the East Coast. The storm is expected to be off the coast of Massachusetts Friday night and completely out of the Boston area by Saturday afternoon. The current forecast predicts some rain showers for Boston but no major wind. We are not anticipating any disruption to our plans for campus move in or the start of classes.

In the event of a storm, however, please be assured that Emerson has plans to provide for the safety and comfort of its residential community.

If the forecast changes, students, faculty, and staff will receive an update via the College’s Emergency Notification System (ENS, also known as Connect-Ed). If you have not already done so, please register your emergency contact information for ENS by logging in.
