Unlocking the Hispanic Vote: A Study by The Emerson College Polling Center

In April 2022, the Emerson College Polling Center (EPC) launched Unlocking the Hispanic Vote—an unprecedented study of the largest and fastest growing minority group in the U.S., designed to better understand their attitudes and beliefs toward voting, policy issues, politics, and the media.

During this event, the EPC team will discuss the findings to their innovative approach, which combined qualitative and quantitative methodologies in the key electoral states of Texas, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Georgia, and Arizona.

The discussion will also feature:

  • Research strategies for engaging Hispanic citizens in both quantitative surveys and qualitative discussions
  • Hispanic insights to the most pressing problems facing their communities
  • The issues and policies with which Hispanics most align
  • How they receive information through the media
  • Hispanic attitudes toward civic engagement and voting
