#SurvivorLoveLetter Workshop

March 27 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

You’re welcome to join us to make your own #SurvivorLoveLetter for yourself or someone else on Wednesday March 27 from 4-5pm in the Beard Room, 202 Piano Row, 150 Boylston Street. No experience necessary, all collaging materials will be provided.
The #SurvivorLoveLetter project highlights poetry and visuals honoring BIPOC, disabled, LGBTQ and additional folks who have experienced harm and communities transforming dominance and oppression towards equity, access, and social justice. It connects Black History, Women’s History, Disability Awareness/Day of Mourning, Stalking/Relationship Violence/Sexual Assault, and Survivor Recognition months, Trans Day of Visibility, and LGBTQ Health Awareness week together. Rather than centering the harm, we honor their lived experiences and recognize the healing, community, activism, and joy of these efforts.
#SurvivorLoveLetter was founded by Tani Ikeda in 2012 as a way to publicly celebrate their lives.
