December Community Action Circle (virtual)

Join the Elma Lewis Center in a one-hour virtual Community Action Circle!
Each month, members of our Social Justice Solidarity Circles cohort will host a virtual Community Action Circle in collaboration with a local grassroots organization to support their work in movements toward a more equitable and liberatory future.
 
During our hour together, our team will provide information about these issues, space for community building, and guide us together through making actions requested by directly-impacted community leaders.
 
This month, we are supporting the Public Health & Human Rights for Mass and Cass Coalition and Justice 4 Housing. We will examine the history of the unhoused encampment in the Mass & Cass area of Boston and draw connections between poverty, homelessness, and the prison industrial complex.
