So You Want to Work in Late Night

September 25 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Friday, September 25th at 4pm ET/1pm PT
Join us for the first installment of the So You Want To… series, a webinar series featuring recent Emerson alumni who are making their mark in the industries of your dreams. Up first: Late Night TV.
Millions of people tune in nightly to hear what Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, or their favorite Jimmy has to say about the state of the world. Late night programs simultaneously entertain and inform their viewers – blending together so many technical skills and areas of passions – from television production and politics to journalism and comedy. It practically speaks for itself why so many Emersonians pursue competitive summer internships and have post-grad dreams the size of The Daily Show desk.
And better yet, Emerson alumni work in all facets of what keeps these programs running every weeknight – from producing segments and writing cold opens, to overseeing graphics and manning cameras, to even being the person behind the desk, interviewing guests, with their name in lights.
Maybe you’re next!
Join us for a conversation with 4 recent alumni whose day jobs keep everyone up at night, as they answer your questions about the industry, their careers, and more.
