Green ’25 on Friendship with Bartevian’s Owner Patricia Bartevian: WBUR

VMA major Madeleine Green ’24 narrates a WBUR piece that highlights her friendship with Patricia Bartevian, the owner of Bartevian’s, Inc., a consignment and antique shop on the same Boylston Street block as the College.

Bartevian, also an Emersonian (Class of 1944), turned 101 this September and reflected on some of her favorite memories with Green.

As the story aired on her birthday, Madeleine and Patricia listened in the shop, and began receiving calls from across the country with birthday wishes.
