Emerson’s Cross Country Teams Earn National Academic Ratings

Emerson’s cross country track teams are good runners and great students.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently announced its All-Academic Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division III Cross Country season, and Emerson’s teams did pretty well.

The Emerson men’s cross country team placed second in the nation with a team GPA of 3.768. Emerson’s women’s cross country team placed 13th in the nation with a team GPA of 3.81.

Individually, Yasmin Defne Dadikhi ’26 earned an All-Academic Individual Award for her combination of scholastic and placement in the top 35 at Regionals.
