Emerson College Statement on the Bright Lights Cinema Series

The Bright Lights Cinema Series will screen the film Israelism on February 1, 2024, after being postponed from its original screening date in November 2023. The films screened in this series are selected to create a community environment where cinema is not only viewed and appreciated but where a dialogue is fostered. The screening of films in this series does not connote endorsement or support of the film’s content by Emerson College or the Visual and Media Arts Department. Emerson prides itself on being a community of diverse people and perspectives that values social justice and free expression while also protecting our community from bias, threats, and intimidation.
