Emerson Launches International Student Portal

The Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) has launched Terra Dotta, an online immigration status management resource for international students and visiting scholars.

This new cloud-based portal streamlines and consolidates immigration services to Emerson’s growing number of international students, allowing them to submit requests for immigration and employment benefits, view and download copies of immigration documents, and view communication with OISA about immigration processing steps and advisories.

Terra Dotta will also serve as a tool for academic departments to submit requests for immigration sponsorship in J-1 status, including visiting researchers, lecturers, artists, and academic visitors.

Implementation of Terra Dotta occured under the auspices of Internationalization and Equity, with technical support and system integration from Information Technology (IT).

Questions about Terra Dotta or about international student and scholar support can be directed to or directly to OISA staff.
