Fall 2022 Academic Advising Drop-In Hours

Greetings!

The Academic Advising Center (AAC) staff will be available for walk-ins every business day throughout the first week of the Fall 2022 semester: Friday, September 2 – Friday, September 9 (Note: the College is closed Monday, September 5, for Labor Day).

• Walk-ins are ONLY for questions regarding Fall 2022 scheduling. To plan long-term, please schedule an appointment via emerson.edu/advisingmeeting.
• To request an in-person walk-in, please sign up once you’ve arrived at the AAC (Ansin Building/180 Tremont, 4th Floor). You cannot sign up in advance to hold a spot as you must be available to connect with an advisor upon submission.
• To request a virtual walk-in, stay tuned to your phone (or email for students abroad). Advisors may call from an unknown number. 
• Pull up your degree audit so you’re able to follow along.
• Before making any schedule adjustments, be sure you know how to add/drop classes.

Be aware of the Fall 2022 add/drop dates: 

• During the first week of classes, you may add or drop courses online. The last day to add a class online without instructor permission is September 11 at 11:59 pm (EDT). 
• Starting September 12, instructor permission is required to add a class online. Classes can still be dropped online without permission (but don’t drop a class until you receive permission to add into another one). Keep in mind the full-time tuition cost is the same for 12-16 credits. 
• The last day to add/drop a class is September 15 at 11:59 pm (EDT). The course withdrawal period begins September 16.
