Lepiarz ’10 Whips Up the Crowd on ‘America’s Got Talent’: Boston Globe

Watch WBUR anchor Jack Lepiarz ’10 (a/k/a ‘Jack the Whipper’) split a straw from between America’s Got Talent host Simon Cowell’s legs using nothing but a bull whip (and nerves of steel).

“After I got off stage, one of the producers said ‘I don’t think that could have gone better,’ and I think that’s the way to put it,” Lepiarz told the Boston Globe.

He learned whip cracking as a child, growing up in the circus and still performs at King Richard’s Faire in Carver, Massachusetts, each fall.
