Tshuma Interviews Nobel Prize Winner in Literature
Earlier this year, Novuyo Tshuma, assistant professor of Writing, Literature and Publishing, interviewed Tanzanian writer Abdulrazak Gurnah, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature Thursday, October 7.
The interview was about his latest novel, Afterlives for Africa Writes and its Exeter Bookclub series.
“It was a lively conversation about writing, history, war and the implications of writing forgotten histories,” said Tshuma.
