One Emerson: Community Compact Spring 2021

Hello,

We are a few short weeks away from beginning our Spring semester, one that brings many of the same challenges we faced in the Fall semester along with the reality of higher COVID case counts and a more contagious variant of the virus. In August, we asked all students returning to Boston to review the Emerson College Community Compact — an agreement that highlights the role we each play in the health, safety, and wellness of our community.

Today, we ask you to renew your commitment to the health, safety, and wellness of our community — or, if you’ll be on the Boston campus for the first time since COVID began, to make that commitment now.

The Emerson College Community Compact continues to guide our work and provide a lasting reminder of how we show care for ourselves and our fellow Emersonians.

This semester, we ask you to agree to do your part in keeping our community as safe as possible by reviewing and signing the Community Compact on EmConnect. Students must agree to the Compact in order to be on the Boston campus this Spring.

Please log into the Paths page of EmConnect. You’ll find a description and instructions for how to indicate your agreement to the Community Compact. Below that, you’ll see a progress bar. Click on it and it’ll take you to three required items. Please read the items, mark them as complete, and add a completion date and your typed agreement.

If you have trouble with the link, log into EmConnect and scroll down. Right below the events, you’ll see a box on the right side that says Paths. Click on Emerson College Community Compact – Spring 2021. That will take you to the Compact.

Together, we can keep our community safe. Thank you and take care,

Jim Hoppe
Vice President and Dean of Campus Life
