Interview the Candidates for Associate Dean for Counseling, Health and Wellness

The search committee for the Associate Dean of Campus Life and Director for Counseling, Health & Wellness will be selecting finalists later this week.  Those finalists will be invited to participate in Zoom interviews the week of December 14th.  I am writing to share two opportunities for members of the community to be involved in the interview process.

Each candidate will be asked to make a presentation that will be open to the campus community.  After a 20 minute presentation, the floor will be opened for attendees to ask questions of the candidate.  Everyone in attendance at the community presentations will be asked to complete a feedback form which will help inform the search committee in the final selection process.

All members of the student body, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the community presentations.  Registration is available via EmConnect. Please log into EmConnect or visit the following links to RSVP and to find the corresponding zoom links.

Candidate #1:  Tuesday, December 15th from 2:00-3:00pm

Candidate #2:  Thursday, December 17th from 2:00-3:00pm

Candidate #3:  Friday, December 18th from 10:00am-11:00pm

Information on each finalist will be shared via EmConnect after the finalists have been confirmed.

In addition, each candidate will have a block of time just with students, facilitated by one of the student members of the search committee.  If you are interested in being involved in this part of the interview process please contact Paula Mangiaratti, paula_mangiaratti@emerson.edu for the Zoom link.

Student interview blocks are scheduled at the following times:

Candidate #1:  Monday, December 14tth from 10:00-11:00am

Candidate #2:  Wednesday, December 16th from 10:30-11:30am

As we announced earlier this fall, the Associate Dean for Campus Life and Director of Counseling, Health and Wellness will lead a newly integrated center that combines the current Center for Health and Wellness and the Emerson Counseling & Psychological Services, as well as building programs focused on wellness and wellbeing.  The Associate Dean will not only provide leadership for student-facing units but facilitate a campus-wide commitment to wellbeing for all members of the campus community.

We hope you will be able to join us in the process.
