New Daily Symptom Checker App
Dear Emerson Faculty and Staff,
In addition to our testing program for returning students, faculty, and staff, the College will require that anyone who is approved to come to campus complete a very brief self-report of current or new symptoms. You can do this easily on the Daily Symptom Checker, which is a new feature of the Emerson mobile app.
How to Use the Daily Symptom Checker
- Download the app from your phone’s App Store
- Launch the Emerson app, swipe to the bottom and select “Switch to Faculty/Staff.”
- Log in with Duo, select “Daily Symptom Check,” and complete the assessment. The next time you open the app, you’ll already be in the Faculty/Staff area!
Again, we ask that you not come to campus without first completing this symptom check.
Those who do not report any symptoms will receive a green badge within the app and be approved to come to campus and enter our buildings. Those experiencing symptoms will not be permitted on campus, and should test immediately and quarantine for 14 days. Please also contact Human Resources (hr@emerson.edu) as soon as possible to discuss your symptoms.
