Alums Kevin Bright ’76, Lisa Gregorian ‘83 Bring “Friends” Set to Emerson

Dear Emerson Community:

In celebration of the 25^th anniversary of the award-winning television series Friends, which was produced by Emerson’s very own alumnus and trustee, Kevin Bright ’76, replicas of the iconic “Central Perk” coffeehouse set are going on tour to locations around the world – thanks to Warner Bros. TV Marketing Executive Lisa Gregorian ’83. I’m delighted to let you know that Emerson fans of Friends will have the chance to visit the set, which includes the orange-fringed couch, coffee table and props, right here on campus. One of thirty to pop up at landmarks around the globe and the only one in Boston, the replica set will be on view at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre lobby for members of our community and the public to enjoy from September 19-23.

In addition, Kevin will visit campus Sunday, September 22, to participate in several activities related to the anniversary. Details on those activities will be available soon.

Members of the public and the community are invited to interact with the set and take photos during the following times:

Thursday, September 19 – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Friday, September 20 – 12:00 to 8:00 pm
Saturday, September 21 – 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, September 22 – 12:00 to 8:00 pm
Monday, September 23 – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
