Dear Emerson Community,
We are pleased to announce that a beta version of the College’s new website is now available to preview at http://beta.emerson.edu. Thanks to the creative vision and strategic engineering of Mike Sarra, former Associate Vice President of Marketing, Jason Beals, Director of Web Services, and their colleagues in the College’s Office of Marketing, the new website has been designed to better reflect Emerson’s inspiring community and leadership in the arts, communication, and the liberal arts.
A central feature of the new website is its ability to offer a “one-stop-shop” of information to students, faculty and staff, and parents. A series of new audience-focused pages will give our community members a gateway to the topics and information that matter most to them. These pages will replace eCommon, as well as provide task-specific links to services for students, faculty, and staff.
The beta site will be available for evaluation and comments from the community until June 28, 2019 to allow for the launch of Workday on July 1. During this period, members of the community are encouraged to share their feedback at http://beta.emerson.edu/feedback or by email at email@example.com, which will be thoroughly reviewed by the Web Services team as they continue to develop, improve, and migrate content to the new site.
The public launch date is targeted for July 31.
