The Emerson College Police Department is offering a self-defense class Friday, December 7, 2:00-5:00 pm, in Paramount Studio 4. The training is an opportunity to learn more about how to reduce your risks of harm for yourself and the community.
Participants will be trained to be alert for aggressive behavior, to recognize how this behavior negatively impacts lives, to take steps to avoid aggressive behavior, and to look at how everyone can be part of reducing aggression and violence.
The course is FREE and open to all female students, faculty, and staff. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear.
