Emerson College Supports Peaceful Student Protests

In light of recent protests by students following the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Emerson College released the following statement: 

Emerson College believes in the transformative power of dissent as a catalyst for social change. The College supports the right of all students to participate in peaceful protests without fear of reprisal. We welcome applications from students who exercise this right, and will take no action to penalize students who engage in peaceful demonstration.
