Reisman Film Premieres at Sundance, Picked up by Bleecker Street

Leave No Trace, the latest film produced by Emerson Senior Distinguished Producer-in-Residence Linda Reisman has been picked up for distribution at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where it had its premiere.

Bleecker Street acquired North American rights to the film, while Sony International has global rights, Reisman said.

The film, formerly known as My Abandonment, was directed by Debra Granik and co-written by Granik and Anne Rosellini, who collaborated earlier on the Oscar-nominated Winter’s Bone. It stars Ben Foster (Hell or High Water, 3:10 to Yuma) and Thomasin McKenzie as a father and daughter living in a nature reserve near Portland, Oregon, until a small mistake forces them to search for a new place to call home.

Reisman most recently was an executive producer on The Danish Girl (2015), which was nominated for four Academy Awards and won for Best Supporting Actress (Alicia Vikander).
