Students, Parents Reconnect over Family Weekend

The Office of Student Life hosted more than 450 families and over 1,700 participants at Emerson College’s annual Family Weekend October 21-23.

The 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm showings of Emerson Stage’s production of James and the Giant Peach were both sold out, as was the annual President's Breakfast.

Other popular events included campus tours and the mini-classes taught by Emerson faculty members, said Jason Meier, director of student activites.

“Family Weekend really is a great opportunity for students and families to not only reconnect with each other, but to reconnect with the college,” Meier said. “It's always a joy watching students show their family members the new home they've made at Emerson College.
