Marre ’09 named Sen. Collins’ communications director

Alleigh Marre ’09 has been named communications director to U.S. Senator Susan Collins of Maine.

Collins’s office made the announcement in a February 10 press release.

“I am delighted that Alleigh has joined our team as my new Director of Communications,” Collins said in a statement. “She brings abundant energy, enthusiasm, and experience to this important position and will help ensure that my constituents are kept well-informed of my efforts in the United States Senate.”

Marre, who majored in Marketing Communication at Emerson, most recently served on Scott Walker’s successful gubernatorial campaign in Wisconsin.

She previously served as a regional press secretary on former Senator Scott Brown’s reelection campaign in Massachusetts. She has also worked in health care and technology communications.
