Baker edges Coakley in student-run poll

Coakley Baker

The Emerson College Polling Society has released the results of a new survey in the final days before the election for Massachusetts Governor, which is taking place Tuesday, November 4.

“In the Massachusetts governor’s race, it’s looking like ‘deja vu all over again’ for Democratic Attorney General Martha Coakley,” reads an October 30 press release from the polling society. “With less than a week to Election Day, an Emerson College Polling Society survey shows that Coakley, who suffered an epic fade in the 2010 special election for the U.S. Senate, is trailing her Republican opponent Charlie Baker by 6 points, 48% to 42%. Independent Evan Falchuk draws 4% of the vote.”

Read the results of the Emerson College Polling Society’s latest poll, which surveyed 627 likely voters October 26–29.
