Sharma, MS ’83, named top advisor in Barron’s

Emerson Trustee Raj Sharma, MS ’83, has been recognized in the latest issue of Barron’s magazine as one of 15 “all-star” financial advisors. The magazine designates all-star status to financial advisors who have made the publication’s Top 100 Advisors list for the past 10 straight years.

Sharma is managing director of wealth management for The Sharma Group, of the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group, with nearly three decades of experience in financial strategies and asset management.

When asked by Barron’s for general advice, Sharma said: “Don’t look at your money as one whole: Separating it into buckets for different objectives reduces anxiety.”
