PATHWAYS program featured in Boston Globe
emersonPATHWAYS, a newly launched program geared toward Boston public high school students, was the subject of a front-page story in the Boston Globe’s G/Arts section.
The PATHWAYS program grew out of the College’s emersonWRITES and emersonTHEATRE programs, which bring high school students to campus to spend eight consecutive Saturdays studying writing or theater each semester. PATHWAYS expands the program beyond one semester; it’s a three-year commitment, so students are continuously coming to Emerson, participating in either the writing or theater track, and also coming together as a larger group to learn college prep skills.
