Staff Appreciation Reception honors 69 employees
Sixty-nine Emerson staff members were honored with Service Recognition Awards at the annual Staff Appreciation Reception at the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common, on January 14.
Two staff members were honored for 35 years of service to the College: Ron Ludman, Dean of Students; and Maureen Tripp, Media Resources Coordinator for the Iwasaki Library.
Two staff members were honored for 30 years of service: Robert Fleming, Executive Director of the Iwasaki Library; and Shelley Lipschultz, Clinical Instructor and Undergraduate Coordinator for Communication Sciences and Disorders, who recently retired.
“The success of Emerson College is due in no small part to your talent and toil,” President Lee Pelton told staff members. “You play a vital role here, and I truly appreciate all that you do. I salute each and every one of you, especially those who are receiving long-term recognition awards.”
“Let’s work together to further enhance our community and achieve even greater heights in the years to come,” Pelton said.
Staff members who have worked at Emerson for 25 years were also recognized, as well as those who have worked 20, 15, 10, and 5 years.
