Wins for Men’s and Women’s Basketball

Emerson’s Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams had two notable wins this weekend, with the Men’s Team celebrating its first win of the season Saturday, November 16, with a score of 64-62 over the Emmanuel Saints.

The Women’s Team won 64-54 over Wentworth in its 2013-14 season opener.

Forward Kristin Brice ’15 scored a dominating 30 points and 16 rebounds, including 13 points and seven rebounds during the first half when the Emerson Lions took control of the game.

The top scorers for the Men’s Team were captain Jon Goldberg ’14, Michael Thorpe ’16, and Tyson Hallowell ’16, who all scored 13 points each.
