Emerson Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jim O’Brien has added another accolade to his already impressive career—being added to the Catholic High School Athletic Association’s 2013 Hall of Fame.

The New York-based association is honoring O’Brien for his prominent career that began as a player for St. Francis Preparatory School in Brooklyn. O’Brien went on to play for Boston College and later coached there, as well at St. Bonaventure University and Ohio State University.

“The CHSAA was the league to be in,” O’Brien said. “Now when I mention the CHSAA, not only is it respected in New York but also on a national level.”
