Colleges, universities support Pelton’s letter to Obama

A Boston Globe article reflects on President Lee Pelton’s letter to President Obama to curb gun violence in America. Pelton has gained the support of more than 260 colleges and universities nationwide who have pledged their commitment to support Obama’s effort in preventing more tragedies like Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.

Among the signers were presidents of several Massachusetts institutions: Boston College, Smith College, Clark University, Brandeis University, and the University of Massachusetts system.
