Srinivas to advise World Economic Forum

Associate Professor of Sociology in the Department of Communication Studies Tulasi Srinivas was recently selected as an advisor to the World Economic Forum.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. It is committed to improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas.

Srinivas’s work on globalization, religious pluralism, and economic change prompted the organization to invite her to serve on the global agenda council, which sets the agenda for its annual international meetings in Davos, Switzerland.
