Emersonians Win Student Hatch Award

Four Emerson alumni received a prestigious Hatch Award this fall for an advertising campaign on which they collaborated their senior year at Emerson. Their JetBlue Twitter campaign “Where’s Jackie?” won bronze in the student category at the 50th annual Hatch Awards.

The Hatch Awards is the premier creative awards show honoring the best marketing and advertising campaigns in New England. Earlier this year the “Where’s Jackie?” campaign won an advertising competition sponsored by JetBlue and AdU Network.

“Where’s Jackie?” evolved as part of a larger project called “It’s Fun to Jet!,” which was designed by Emerson student-formed agency Atmosphere360. Creative Director Brock Pisciotta ’10 worked with Art Directors Stephanie Costa ’11 and Trevor Morrow ’10, and Copywriter Sarah Jacobs ’10.

“Working with this team was one of my most enjoyable and memorable experiences during my time at Emerson.”

“The opportunity to use the knowledge gained in the last four years and apply it in a real–world setting was invaluable. It’s tremendously rewarding to have our efforts recognized by the greater advertising community,” Pisciotta said.
